AN EVENT
BY THE PEDAL & SYNTH EXPO ORGANIZERS
Delicious
Audio has been hosting quiet (and
regularly sold out) events for guitarists since
2011 in big cities like New York, London and Los
Angeles.
The Toronto Guitar Expo aims to
fill a void in the city's music scene by
providing brands and retailers in the guitar
industry with a platform to showcase their
products to musicians in Canada’s largest and
most vibrant music hub.
Hundreds of brands participate
every year in our events, and thousands of
guitarists attended them.
As you can see from the pictures
of our past shows, we know how to fill up the
rooms we book (click here
to browse the albums):
OUR STORY
It all started in Brooklyn, NY,
with the first Stompbox Exhibit, an event
presented by The Deli, our now defunct magazine
dedicated to emerging NYC bands (the
blog is still alive). That event was
likely the first-ever guitar show designed for
headphones.
Over the years, these gear expos
expanded to include synthesizers under the Synth
& Pedal Expo banner, reaching major cities
like Los Angeles, London, and Montreal.
Montreal, in particular, has
been the company’s home base since 2019.
To further support the community
of builders who backed their events, the
organizers also launched a blog
dedicated entirely to stompboxes.
The idea for the Toronto Guitar
Expo emerged when we discovered a massive
venue—over 8,000 square feet—during our search
for a space to host the Synth & Pedal Expo.
The size made it possible to create a dedicated
section for guitars and non-amplified
accessories, making it the perfect setting to
bring a new, bigger event to life.
